Into the Vanishing Point (2021- )



Focusing on mediums used within film, the charcoal drawings took on the form of storyboards. Themes of rurality, empty landscapes and farm/industrial structures accompany the darkness of these spaces drawing back to memories growing up in Derbyshire and the changing geo-identity I associate with this now living in a more urban environment.





















This exploration then lead into investigating photography, especially with the use of photography as a ‘tool of the tourist’. Having this outsider view of the tourist and it’s use of the flash allowed for this already familiar landscape to be viewed anew.
